AESIS Practice Connections
Upcoming Submission Themes
AESIS Practice Connections is currently seeking articles for our Summer and Fall 2026 submission cycles! Each seasonal cycle has a designated theme to showcase work in specific areas of academic education.
Upcoming themes for publication are listed below:
In a time where OT & OTA students are experiencing greater amounts of mental health crises and burnout, cultivating student resilience can be a tool in improving the quality of life and academic experience for those we educate. At the same time, student accountability remains ever an important aspect of being successful in occupational therapy practitioner training programs.
AESIS Practice Connections is looking to publish work that focuses on the topics of resilience and/or accountability in our student populations. Have you, or your programs, had successes at building resilience in your student population? Do you have ideas for equitable student accountability? Consider submitting an article to our co-editors for publication!
As OT & OTA educational programs continue to grapple with changing educational landscapes, the pre-Clinical experiential components of our programs remain integral aspects of preparing our students for future practice. Simulations, practicals, and competencies all represent unique facets of student educational experiences.
AESIS Practice Connections is looking to publish work related to simulations, practicals, and competencies during Fall 2026. A wide range of author interpretations of the theme are welcome- we want to publish what you think would be beneficial for others to know about these experiential components!
